- Benzene is a carcinogen (linked to leukemia and blood disorders) and is used for the manufacturing of industrial solvents, drugs, plastics, synthetic rubber, and dyes.

- Carbon Monoxide enters you blood stream and takes the place of oxygen, causing less oxygen to be delivered to your brain, heart and vital organs.
- Cadmium is an extremely toxic metal commonly found in industrial workplaces, particularly where any ore is being processed or smelted. About 75% of Cadmium is used in nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cad) batteries.
- Eugenol can cause a wide range of symptoms from blood in the urine, to convulsions, diarrhea, nausea, unconsciousness, dizziness, or rapid heartbeat.

- Lead is a poisonous metal that can cause blood and brain disorders. When ingested may cause behavioral problems, learning disabilities, seizures and death.
- Methanol has poisonous properties and is commonly known as wood alcohol. It is used on a limited basis to fuel internal combustion engines.
- Napthalene is volatile, forming a flammable vapor. It can destroy both blood and liver cells and is best known as the primary ingredient of mothballs.
- Nickel is a carcinogen that is considered to be poisonous if ingested. It is used in electroplating metals and is widely used as an additive to steel and cast-iron alloys.
- Nicotine is not only a stimulant and a poison, but it is an extremely addictive drug. It is used in insecticides and a single drop is enough to kill the average individual.
- Phenols can destroy the protein in cells, poisoning them directly and have been used in antiseptics, germicides, disinfectants, antioxidants and caustics.
- Polonium is found in uranium ores and is a radioactive metallic element. It is present in tobacco smoke that came from tobacco leaves grown with phosphate fertilizers.
- Radon is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and chemically inert radioactive gas. It is one of the heaviest gases and is considered to be a definite health hazard.
- Tar in cigarette smoke paralyzes the cilia in the lungs and contributes to serious lung diseases such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and lung cancer.
- Turpentine is an extremely flammable solvent and is used for thinning oil-based paints and for producing varnishes. Its vapor can burn the skin and eyes, damage the lungs and respiratory system, as well as the central nervous system when inhaled.

"If You Are a Smoker... You Are Addicted to Nicotine"

|
It is agreed by all smokers that have kicked the habit, that smoking is a very hard habit to break because the tobacco contains nicotine which is known to be extremely addictive. Just like heroin or cocaine, your body and your mind becomes quickly addicted to the nicotine and the smoker feels as though they need to smoke just to feel normal.

Nicotine is the tobacco plant's natural protection from being eaten by insects. Simply put, it's a pesticide. Each drop of nicotine is more deadly than arsenic, strychnine or snake venom.
Nicotine arrives in your brain within 10-19 seconds after inhaling smoke from your cigarette, cigar or pipe. Your brain then generates "dopamine" which provides you with a sensation of being rewarded for smoking. Don't forget that nicotine produces physical and mood-altering effects in your brain that you find temporarily pleasing which reinforce your continued use of tobacco products and your dependency upon nicotine.
Once addicted to tobacco because of the nicotine, you are then faced with a multitude of health problems that are directly related to the substances in the tobacco smoke... which include damage to your lungs, heart and blood vessels. It has been proven that individuals that smoke have significantly higher rates of cancer, heart disease and stroke.

Your degree of addiction directly depends upon two factors. How much do you smoke and for how long have you smoked. Needless to say, an individual who currently smokes 1/2 pack of cigarettes each day and has smoked for only 4 years will find it much easier to quit smoking than someone who has smoked 2 packs of cigarettes every day for the last 15 years.
You will experience strong withdrawal symptoms when you try to quit smoking. You may experience strong cravings for tobacco and you may show signs of anxiety, irritability, restlessness, difficulty to concentrate, headache, drowsiness, stomach upset and even constipation or diarrhea. Is all this worth improving your health? You bet your life it is!
No one has ever said that it was going to be easy for you to quit smoking, but with the help of our "Quit Smoking in 30 Days or Less" program you will have a terrific chance of kicking this deadly habit for good. Check our Special Offer and become a non-smoker in 30 days.
